original and intact c. 1940's mobile riveted joint pressed and folded steel "great northern" automobile battery charger station rack or storage display unit designed and fabricated by or for the great northern battery company, milwaukee, wisc. the two open-ended undershelves were built specifically for storing multiple batteries. the top most tier or platform with raised edges originally contained a device or charger with multiple cables used for charging the batteries. the original pressed steel bassick swivel caster are in good working order. the riveted and welded joint angled steel has been brushed and sanded down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures 37 x 16 x 34 1/2 inches, top shelf measures 25 x 11 inches
