original and intact early 1940's nicely worn varnished maple wood double-sided swinging chicago tavern door with the original double-acting steel and iron "bommer" hinges designed and fabricated by either the bommer brothers or the chicago butt company, chicago, il. the single hinged tavern door features a striking wood grain pattern throughout. the diminutive diamond-shaped window is original to the door. surface wear and discoloration evident. salvaged from a chicago tavern dating to the 1940's. only one available. measures 22 x 1 1/2 x 78 inches.
