two matching original and largely intact american 19th century eastlake style "bamboo" pattern cast brass ornamented passage door hinges with elegant finials

pair of matching c. 1880's hard to find and highly sought after all original "bamboo" pattern interior residential passage door hinges designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the pair of cast brass hinges once contained distinctive ornamented finials. the loose pin hinges retain the original baked enameled inlay used to accentuate the casting detail. the long and narrow knuckles with similar design motifs show very little wear. multiple pairs available. some of the hinges are missing the finials (as found) during the salvage. the other hinges, used on the first floor are designed in the "ivy" pattern by branford. priced for the pair. each hinge measures 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches.
