two oversized seldom found entrance doorknobs designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the bulbous cast brass doorknobs contain an intricate floral field pattern that originally contained a baked black enameled inlay to accentuate the detail. the large entrance size "ivy" pattern doorknobs contain a nicely aged surface patina with ornament on front and back side of the doorknobs. salvaged from a chicago victorian cottage demolished in the winter of 2021. priced for the pair.
