a pair of original and intact c. 1940's (date based on name plaque information) diminutive cast iron filtration brackets salvaged from an unidentified foundry device designed and fabricated by the general electric company, schenectady, ny. the device was housed in the original c. 1902 foundry building (after moving from clinton street). the sprawling foundry is currently undergoing demolition. several matching cast iron brackets are available. the matching set have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. ideal for framing photography, etc. the ring at the very top of each bracket acts as a finger lift used to removed the brackets from the device. priced for the pair. measures 9 1/8 x 8 3/4 inches.
