pair of original and solidly constructed antique american industrial brushed metal machine base legs designed and possibly fabricated by or for the w.b. rapp machinery co., philadelphia, pa. the matching lathe machine bases were designed to support the 9" "junior" south bend machine lathe. the machine bases have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. a common, but "timeless" design. the original riveted joint brass name plaque is affixed to the side of one of the legs. great condition, with no cracks, breaks or repairs. priced for the pair. measure 33 inches high x 16 inches at the widest point.
