pair of original well-built early 20th century american vintage industrial reinforced cast iron machine shop workbench bases or legs designed and fabricated by the w.a. jones foundry and machine company, chicago, il. the formed channels provide added strength and rigidity. the floor plates or feet can be mounted to the floor. the topmost sections contain a series of pre-drilled holes for providing added flexibility when mounting the custom tabletop with nuts and bolts. the bases were salvaged from a chicago paint factory. brushed metal finish treated with a clear coat lacquer. priced for the pair. measure 29 1/2 x 2 x 33 inches.
