two matching all original and fully functional cobalt blue glass salvaged chicago crouse-hinds airstrip landing lights

two matching original vintage american industrial freestanding brightly colored steel and aluminum airfield runway lights designed and manufactured in part by the crouse-hinds co., syracuse, new york. the low-lying individual upright landing lights are equipped with weighted round bases with pre-drilled holes for mounting purposes. the light source is fully protected by a weather-resistant dome-shaped cobalt blue fresnel lenses fabricated by the kopp glass company. the functional runway lights were salvaged from midway airport in chicago during upgrades. the yellow enameled paint finish contains a nicely aged finish, consistent with age. great overall condition.
