matching set of well-designed 19th century american aesthetic movement residential parlor room sliding or pocket door mortise locks designed and fabricated by the hopkins & dickinson mfg. co., new york city, ny. the two mortise locks retain the original push buttons, sliding handles and finger locks (actuated with a key). the highly ornate cast bronze face plates retain the original baked black enameled inlay to bolster the design. measure approximately 7 3/4 x 1 1/8 x 3 3/4 inches. priced for the pair.
