lot of three matching, nearly identical privy dug mid-nineteenth century vibrant teal blue glass iron pontiled pony bottles manufactured for philadelphia bottler william riddle.the slim body has sloping shoulders and a short neck finished with an applied rounded taper. the front body is embossed with the bottler's name and location, and feature a large, cursive "r" on the back. two of the three have intact collars, while one has a major chip at the lip. the deep blue green glass is irridized, exhibiting some haze and discoloration. crudities are typical of age and date of manufacture, including bubbles, whittling, and casewear. all three have kickups with varying amounts of residue from the iron pontil.
