stunning original 19th century hand-carved gilded age new york city mansion wall panels with deep relief ornament

two matching all original and exceptionally well-maintained giled age hand-carved solid white oak wood figural panels salvaged from a new york city mansion during its demolition in the 1950s. the panels were apart of a larger wood-paneled room that was taken apart. the exact address and/or architect is not known. the hand-carved panels are single-sided with richly carved ornamentation. the nicely aged finish is in amazingly great shape. additional fragments from this mansion were salvaged and purchased along with the panels. priced for the pair. the exact wood carver and/or fabricator is not known.
