old american industrial single stationary four-legged repurposed cast iron lathe machine base side or occasional table with a newly added weathered and worn rock hard maple wood tabletop. the low-lying flared leg base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the maple wood top has been bolted tightly against the machine base. great overall condition. the lathe base was fabricated by the d.e. whiton machine co., new london, ct. measures approximately 15 x 16 x 15 inches.
