heavy duty original c. 1930's american industrial lightly cleaned solid steel gear or sprocket-wheel salvaged from a chicago tool & die factory. the double-sided teeth are free from damage. the central opening is segmented or grooved for use with a specific machine. the bare metal finish is nicely worn. very little rust evident. possibly fabricated by the browne & sharp mfg. co., providence, ri. only one available. measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter.
