early to mid-1930's antique american single-sided flush mount ruby red glass illuminated interior hotel wall fixture or sconce fabricated in part by the kopp glass company, pittsburgh, pa. the brilliant red glass shade retains the original baked-on white enameled lettering. the ball-shaped shade or globe is affixed to the polished chrome plated steel shade fitter with three knurled edge set screws. the fixture contains a single incandescent socket with new wiring and insulation. the depression era hotel exit light is ready for immediate installation. globe measures 7 inches in diameter.
