intact early 1930's original antique american industrial stationary lightweight factory machinist stool designed and fabricated by the chicago wire chair company, chicago, il. the all-riveted joint angled steel base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the protruding footrest is original and in great overall condition. the four-legged stool retains the the sanded and sealed circular-shaped wood seat tightly affixed to the stool's base. the four stretchers provide added support and stability. several variations with footrest available. measures 29 inches high x 12 1/2 inches in diameter.
