all original and nicely aged late 19th or early 20th century antique american ornamental wrought bronze metal "montello" pattern interior residential doorknob and matching passage door backplate or escutcheon. the decorative hardware was designed and fabricated by the reading hardware company, reading, pa. the single keyhole backplate contains two small screw holes for mounting purposes. the unrestored hardware has developed a nice patina over time. priced for knob and matching backplate. knob measures approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter, backplate measures 2 x 5.5 inches
