c. 1900-20 original and refinished american antique industrial lathe machine base repurposed into a stationary side table or nightstand. the heavy cast iron low-lyng base was likely fabricated by the south bend lathe works, south bend, ind.the four-legged base with outswept feet has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the newly added solid oak wood circular-shaped tabletop has been planed, sanded and sealed. great overall condition. base measures 18 inches x 14 inches, height measures at 22 inches, top diameter measures 18 inches.
