original and intact antique american industrial green enameled pressed and folded factory machine shop pendant light replacement shade, designed and fabricated by or for the american reflector & lighting company, chicago, il. the conical shade or reflector retains the original "factory green" baked-on enameled finish. the underside features a white "reflective" paint used to intensify the light source. the shade was likely outfitted with a single key or paddle shell socket and "uno" fitter, with a rayon cloth cord leading to a porcelain "cap" affixed to the shop's ceiling. surface wear consistent with age.
