two matching all original antique american ornamental cast iron black enameled freestanding cast iron newel posts designed and fabricated by the dearborn foundry company, chicago, ills. the late 19th century newel posts were salvaged from a chicago residence undergoing demolition. the pyramidal-shaped tops with acorn finials are free from damage. the painted finish is mostly uniform throughout. priced for the pair.
