seldom found early 20th century antique american interior "golden armor" enameled industrial "mercury glass" deep bowl drop shades designed and fabricated by the national x-ray reflector company, chicago, il. the no. 535 shades or reflectors remain in great shape with the original gold enameled finish largely intact. the ribbed glass shade contains an unusually large shade opening for use with a 3 1/4 inch fitter. the shade is free from cracks and breaks. the two shades were salvaged from an old chicago "motor row" building showcase window in chicago's south loop. priced for the pair.
