unique vintage american industrial repurposed table or workstation combining a custom-cut maple wood top with an old early 20th century factory machine shop grinder base. the rock hard maple wood tabletop contains a slightly curved edge along the front side. the tapered cast iron base with large floor plate contains three individual compartments for storage purposes. the grinder base was likely fabricated by the general tool & equipment co., chicago, il. both wood and iron components have been refinished. measures 22 1/2 x 16 1/2 x 38 inches.
