vintage american industrial custom-built freestanding candle holder or single electric light table or desk lamp featuring an early 20th century rusticated and perforated cast iron "shade" salvaged from the chicago foundry company, chicago, il. the cylindrical-shaped foundry component has been lightly cleaned and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the cast iron shade sits flush against a circular-shaped solid zebrawood weighted base supported by four protruding or outswept solid oak wood feet.
