uniquely-shaped late 19th century antique american ornamental cast iron repurposed plant or display stand with newly added solid hickory wood tabletop and recess apron. the heavy four-legged cast iron base has been brushed down to bare metal and darkened with an amber-colored shellac finish. the diminutive square-shaped tabletop has been planed, sanded and sealed. the exact fabricator is not known. excellent overall condition,
