solidly-built american repurposed industrial factory machine shop bases containing a newly added old-growth pine wood tabletop. the multi-purpose console, desk or table is supported by heavy duty table and/or machine bases salvaged from a recently shuttered specialty metal office furniture factory, located in chicago, il. the two matching bases are comprised of heavy gauge steel with a mostly uniform brushed metal finish treated with a clear coat lacquer. the all-welded joint a-frame bases contain square-shaped floor plates for added support and stability. the tabletop is made from recycled floor joists recycled from a late 19th century graystone residence. the wood top has been planed, sanded and sealed. measures approximately 40 1/2 x 22 x 29 inches.
