well-built early antique american industrial four-legged heavy gauge tubular steel pipe factory machine base with newly added maple wood tabletop. the compact freestanding side table or nightstand contains a thoroughly cleaned and brushed metal base with bulbous cast iron and/or steel pipe fittings. the table top is tightly affixed to the base. great overall condition. the fabricator of the base is not known. measures 20 x 16 1/2 x 30 1/2 inches.
