very sleek and simple american streamlined style art deco factory mobile office supply and/or typewriter cart originally fabricated by the general fireproofing co., youngstown, oh. the machine age table is comprised of heavy gauge cold-rolled sheet steel with a brushed metal finish. the legs feature a staggered and/or stepped design. three equally-spaced stretchers provide added support and stability. the two flanking drop leaf hinged sections fold down with ease. a newly added solid reclaimed walnut wood stationary tabletop is tightly affixed to the center section. original bassick swivel casters in excellent working condition. brushed metal finish has been treated with a clear coat finish. measures 34 1/2 x 18 x 26 when side shelves are folded down.
