single early 20th century antique american industrial stationary cast iron "scrap cutter" machine base side table with newly added angled edge slid cherry wood tabletop. the low-lying occasional or nightstand contains a uniquely-shaped four-legged base with a uniform brushed metal finish sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the diminutive square-shaped solid cherry wood top is fastened tightly to the table base. great overall condition. the base was likely fabricated by or for the f.j. littell machine co., chicago, il. measures approximately 15 x 13 x 21 1/2 inches.
