amazingly intact and well-maintained late 19th century solid quartered white oak wood interior residential fireplace mantel salvaged from a chicago residence built around 1895. the custom antique american victorian-era mantel was executed by charles lorenzen and company, chicago, ills. the mantel features nicely turned columns, beaded borders and centrally located carved wood floral motif. the mantel retains the orignal golden oak finish.
