all original c. 1930's wall-mount ruby red illuminated exit light fixture. the streamlined housing is comprised of spun aluminum with stepped ridges. the convex glass inset features a dark red background and deeply etched lettering with opaque black inlay. the glass remains in good condition for its age and date of manufacture. perfectlite lighting factory was founded in the early 1900's in portland, oregon and made its home in cleveland, ohio in 1920. all u.s. army barracks built during ww2 used lights made at this factory.
