structurally sound and heavily reinforced early 20th century vintage american industrial mobile scrap metal foundry cart salvaged from a specialty metal office furniture factory, chicago, il. the custom-built industrial cart is comprised of nicely worn and weathered solid maple wood boards reinforced along the edges with pressed and folded sheet steel riveted tightly in place. the stationary and swivel iron casters were fabricated by bassick. the interior contains a single spacious compartment. traces of the original paint applied over wood remains intact. measures 24 x 36 x 32 1/2 inches.
