late 1920's original and intact antique industrial stationary all-metal outdoor amusement park trash can designed and fabricated by the solar-sturges mfg. co., chicago, il. the heavy gauge pressed and folded steel upright waste receptacle has a uniform brushed and sanded metal finish throughout. the self-closing refuse can contains a pyramidal-shaped hinged top for easy retrieval of the interior liner and/or rubbish. general surface wear consistent with age. measures 22 1/2 x 23 x 48 inches
