strong and sturdy shopworn c. 1940's american industrial reinforced all-riveted joint four-legged pollard stool designed and fabricated by the pollard brothers mfg., co., chicago, il. the well-built stationary stool has been brushed and sanded down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the original circular-shaped solid maple wood seat and contoured backrest retain the original finish. the riveted joint stretchers provide added support and stability. the shopworn stool was salvaged from a chicago tool & die factory. measures 14 x 14 x 38 1/4 inches.
