refinished early 20th century brushed metal heavy gauge steel simmons side table with single pull-out drawer

intact american depression-era vintage industrial "simmons" pressed and folded cold-rolled steel stationary salvaged chicago hotel room side table designed and fabricated between 1935-40 by the simmons mfg. co., kenosha, wi. the brushed metal side table contains a single pull-out drawer and hinged door with original pressed steel knobs drawer pulls. the side table is supported by four tubular square post legs with opposed stretchers supporting an undershelf. structurally sound and sturdy throughout. the interior has been lightly brushed and sealed with a clear coat lacquer.
