c. 1950's original american made vintage industrial factory machine shop four-legged stool designed and fabricated by the pollard brothers mfg co., chicago, il. the machinist stool has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the original solid maple wood seat has been sanded and sealed. the angled iron base is reinforced with riveted joint stretchers on all four sides. the stool contains threaded levels mounts on each of the legs for added stability. base diameter measure 15 inches, seat height measures 25 inches, seat diameter measures 14 inches.
