late 1940's original american industrial adjustable height pressed and folded durable steel factory stool designed and fabricated by lyon metal products inc., chicago, il. the refinished (i.e., brushed metal) stool contains telescoping or extension legs for height adjustment purposes. the steel disc "feet" are original and intact. the circular-shaped, rounded edge seat retains the original wood composite cover riveted tightly against the seat. the adjustable backrest slides forwards and backwards from the underside of the chair. strong and stable workman's stool. brushed metal finish sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures approximately 16 x 16 x 26 inches with a seat diameter of 14 inches.
