one of three closely matching original versatile c. 1930's antique american medical furniture storage cabinet or workstation designed and fabricated by the american metal furniture inc., indianapolis, ind. the robust mobile hospital room supply cabinet is comprised of heavy gauge cold-rolled sheet steel with a brushed metal finish sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the original "bassick" swivel casters with hardened black rubber wheels are intact and functional. the cabinet contains a single pull-out drawer and oversized cabinet door with original pressed steel knob pulls intact. the cabinet was salvaged from the old cook county hospital (chicago, il.). measures 20 x 16 x 32 inches. priced individually.
