all original late 1920' vintage american industrial factory office foreman's desk with intact single pull-out drawer. the stationary desk was likely designed and fabricated by the angled steel stool co., hallowell, mi. the four-legged base is comprised of pressed and formed angled steel with lightly flared feet bent inwards. the three riveted joint stretchers provide added support and stability. the drawer pull is comprised of yellow brass. the tabletop is made of cold-rolled folded steel. diminutive arched-shaped steel braces or brackets offer additional reinforcement. the desk has been brushed down to bare metal and treated with a clear coat lacquer. measures 42 x 26 x 30 inches.
