nice-sized original early 20th century american industrial reinforced cast iron and tubular steel factory machine shop portable cart designed and fabricated by the new britain machine company, new britain, conn. the mobile shop cart contains two identical cast iron decks or tiers with slightly raised edges. the two iron decks are supported by heavy gauge steel tubular uprights. the bassick swivel casters are in great working condition. the industrial work cart can be completely disassembled if need be. the exterior has been brushed and sanded and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. 25 1/2 inches x 19 1/2 inches x 31 1.2 inches.
