all original and intact c. 1920's antique american industrial portable stamped metal address number storage case with "new old stock" numbers and original bag of small nails. the traveling commercial or residential address kit was likely fabricated by or for the garden city plating & mfg. co., chicago, ills. the original solid oak wood box with intact leather handle was made specifically to accommodate or store several stacks of matching numbers comprised of stamped metal. a smaller compartment retains the original bag of small nails used to mount the numbers on storefronts or residential front doors. exceptional condition.
