very unique and highly sought after original early 20th century antique american medical allison expandable scissor arm wall mount optician's examination lamp featuring a highly unique textured "deep bowl" green cased glass shade or reflector with heel. the fully adjustable bracket is comprised largely of steel and cast iron with the original, highly desirable oxidized copper finish largely intact. the bent tubular arm containing the perkins key socket moves up and down pivots to the left or right. the patented shade fitter retains the original set screws with floral heads. the aqua-green cased glass shade with white reflective interior remains in excellent condition. the bent steel stationary bracket with oxidized copper finish attaches flush against the wall. the early electric medical examination lamp has been rewired with period appropriate cotton cloth lamp cord. fabricated by the w.d. allison mfg. co., indianapolis, ind.
