pair of original "jet black" porcelain antique american interior residential doorknobs fabricated by the nashua lock company, nashua, nh. the two matching interior residential passage door handles contains cast brass shanks with openings for threaded set screws and spindle. the doorknobs are comprised of fired red clay with a black porcelain or vitreous enameled finish applied. multiple sets available. date to 1885-90. priced for the pair. good overall condition with surface wear consistent with age. doorknob diameter measures 2 inches.
