matching set of original 19th century american eastlake style "oriental" pattern interior residential passage door backplates designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the pair of doorknob backplates are comprised of cast iron with original wrought brass thimbles or collars. the backplates have been refinished and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measure approximately 5 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches. priced for the pair.
