refinished 19th century original "ceylon" pattern interior residential passage door backplates salvaged from a chicago graystone two-flat undergoing demolition. the popular eastlake style hardware was designed and fabricated by the p. & f. corbin hardware co., new britain, ct. the matching dome-shaped doorknobs with banded rims and rectangular-shaped backplates are comprised of wrought brass. the steel spindle is included. several sets (in various configurations) were salvaged from this historic chicago residence. priced for the set. the doorknobs measure approximately 2 inches in diameter each. the backplates measures approximately 1 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches each. small number of additionaal pairs available.
