finely executed early 20th century antique american polychrome glazed "sullivanesque" building facade terra cotta fragment likely fabricated by the american terra cotta company, chicago, ills. the glazed terra cotta fragment features several design elements used by george grant elmslie. t allover crazing evident. the partial cartouche fragment has been modified with the complete removal of the rear cavities, making it much lighter in weight and easily displayable on the wall.
