well-maintained all original antique american industrial spun yellow brass portable desk lamp designed and fabricated by the faries mfg. co., decatur, ills. the weighted base desk lamp features double-jointed tubular brass arms designed to achieve desired angle. the fixture contains a bras shell socket with on/off paddle switch. the patented rotating parabola steel reflector is original to the fixture, retaining the factory green enameled finish. the weighted base is cast iron, with a nicely turned brass cover plate. the factory light has been rewired. salvaged from a milwaukee factory foreman's office.
