early 20th century original and intact antique american ornamental cast iron "indian lattice" pattern refinished louvered wall grate or vent designed and fabricated by the tuttle & bailey mfg., co., new york city, ny. the fully functional grate contains three louvers that pivot for closing or opening to control ventilation. the brushed metal finished has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. great overall condition. measures 8 x 8 inches.
