original and remarkably intact massive c. 1920's spanish revival style residential entrance door hinge plates possibly fabricated by sargent or the russell & erwin "russwin" mfg. company, new britain, ct. the uniquely shaped oversized cast brass l--shaped brackets contain a nice "wrought" and/or hammered finish with raised faux rivet heads used throughout. the nicely aged entrance door hinge plates were salvaged from a california mansion constructed around 1923. the heavy solid brass brackets were designed for decorative purposes to enhance the entrance door's visual character and style. priced for the pair. measures 14 1/2 x 6 inches.
