intact and free from damage 19th century all original mannequin cast iron boot or shoe originally used on a full-figured dress from in a department store. the exact fabricator is not known. the ornamental cast iron boot retains the original baked-on black enameled finish. the interior cavity of the boot is hollow. the dress form accessory is freestanding and displays well as a curiously piece. these boots are commonly misidentified as salesman samples or trade signs. only one available in this style and finish.
