fully functional late 19th century american victorian era ornamental cast iron interior residential flush mount louvered floor register with hard to find matching surround or frame. the intricately designed pierced metal grate contain three perfectly working adjustable louver, controlled manually by sliding a textured "wheel." fabricated around 1890-95 by the tuttle & bailey manufacturing co., new york. recently salvaged from a chicago graystone residence undergoing renovation. measures 21 1/2 x 18 1/2 inches.
