original late 1870's finely executed ornamental cast bronze chicago residential salvaged interior pocket door hardware with fully functional mortise locks and original key

late 1870's or early 1880's antique american victorian era ornamental cast bronze salvaged chicago residential door hardware designed and fabricated by the hopkins & dickinson mfg. co., new york city, ny. the two mortise locks with decorative face plates are fully functional. the cast bronze key is original. the two escutcheons are heavily ornamented with design motifs consistent with the period. the hardware contains a nicely aged and mostly uniform patina throughout. the finger lock and sliding handles are in excellent working condition. priced for the set. mortise locks measure 8 inches across the faceplate x 4 1/2 inches in depth. escutcheons measure 6 1/4 x 2 inches.
